KG Reception English Teacher

Pharo Foundation seeks a Reception English Teacher for Pharo Kindergarten, Xero Awr Road, Hargeisa. The teacher will lead a reception classroom, plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons in English, develop children's literacy, numeracy, communication and social skills, maintain a safe nurturing classroom, support child development, safeguarding, student observation and parent communication. Requirements: diploma or bachelor's degree in early childhood education, education, English or related discipline; fluent spoken and written English; minimum 2 years' experience teaching young children, preferably kindergarten/reception in an English-medium school; strong classroom management and child-centred/play-based teaching skills. Montessori approach is an advantage. Reports to school head teacher; fixed term one year.
