Responsibilities: develop plans, elevations, sections and construction details; coordinate with engineers; produce interior/exterior renderings and animated walkthroughs; inspect sites, resolve design problems and revise client presentations.
Qualifications: Architecture bachelor’s degree; demonstrated residential design and active-site experience; AutoCAD, Revit or ArchiCAD, SketchUp and rendering software; animation ability; Somali and English communication. A portfolio must include drawings, renders and a walkthrough. Somalia villa/apartment experience is advantageous. Selection involves a villa-design exercise, interview and two reference checks.
