Health Science Lecturer — Re-advertised

Reporting to the Vice Chancellor, deliver nursing, midwifery, community health, pharmacology and related courses through lectures, tutorials, laboratories and clinical practice. Plan lessons and teaching materials; maintain attendance and academic records; supervise placements, internships, fieldwork and student research. Assess and grade work, provide feedback, mentor and counsel students, and maintain consultation hours. Contribute to curriculum review, research proposals, data collection, analysis and publications; participate in committees, recruitment, orientation and professional development. Model evidence-based patient care, safeguarding, ethics and confidentiality. Education and experience: Master’s in nursing, midwifery, public health or a related health sciences field, alongside a nursing or midwifery Bachelor’s degree. The detailed requirements specify 3–5 years of university or recognised tertiary teaching experience. Medical education or ToT/ToF certification is advantageous. Skills: English fluency; computer and digital teaching competence; communication, presentation, coaching, counselling, report writing, teamwork, negotiation and conflict management.
